Four individuals were injured in a stabbing attack in Tel Aviv on Tuesday, with the assailant being fatally neutralized, according to Israeli emergency service Magen David Adom.
Preliminary police investigations revealed that the attacker targeted civilians on Nahalat Binyamin Street and Gruzenberg Street. Among the victims, one sustained serious injuries, with a knife wound to the neck, and was rushed into surgery at Ichilov hospital.
The bustling Nahalat Binyamin area, known for its vibrant restaurants and nightlife, was swiftly cordoned off by authorities. An AFP journalist reported seeing the attacker’s lifeless body on the street.
This incident marks the second stabbing attack in Tel Aviv within four days. On Saturday, another attacker seriously injured a civilian before being stopped by an armed bystander.
Israeli authorities are intensifying security measures in response to the recent surge in violence, as investigations into the incidents continue.
