Israeli Air Strikes Hit Beirut as Explosions Rock Lebanese Capital

Beirut Residents Wake to Smoke After Israeli Attacks in Dahiyeh

Residents of Beirut woke up to smoke and the sound of explosions after a series of Israeli air strikes struck parts of the Lebanese capital early in the morning.

The latest Beirut air strikes occurred just before dawn, sending shockwaves across the city and leaving residents shaken. Thick smoke and the smell of explosives spread through the air, particularly over Dahiyeh, a densely populated southern suburb of Beirut.

Witnesses reported that the explosions were powerful enough to shake buildings and windows across large parts of the city. Even people living in downtown Beirut said they could feel the ground tremble during the strikes.

According to reports from the ground, two major air strikes hit the area around 4am local time, causing particularly strong blasts that rattled neighborhoods far beyond the immediate impact zone.

Dahiyeh Under Pressure

The Dahiyeh district, one of the most densely populated areas in Lebanon, has been repeatedly targeted during the ongoing conflict. The suburb is home to hundreds of thousands of residents, many of whom have already been affected by mass evacuation orders.

Local authorities say the strikes have intensified concerns about the safety of civilians living in the area, as many families continue to wake up to air raid explosions and smoke-filled skies.

Despite the destruction and ongoing tensions, residents across Beirut remain on edge as Israeli attacks continue to target areas in and around the Lebanese capital.

Officials have not yet released full details about the damage or possible casualties, but the latest attacks have once again highlighted the escalating tensions between Israel and Lebanon.
