Ukrainian Drone Attack Ignites Russian Weapons Depot in Bryansk

On October 9, a Ukrainian drone strike set ablaze a Russian weapons depot in Bryansk Oblast, reportedly storing North Korean artillery shells, missiles, and guided aerial bombs. Ukraine’s General Staff confirmed the attack on the 67th Arsenal of Russia’s Main Missile and Artillery Directorate (GRAU), causing multiple explosions at the site. The depot housed a significant amount of weaponry, much of it stored in the open air.

Russia’s Defense Ministry reported shooting down 47 Ukrainian drones overnight, including 24 in Bryansk Oblast. Videos posted by local residents showed intense explosions and fires following the strike.
