US Intel Leak Exposes Israeli Military Plans Against Iran

An alleged leak of Pentagon documents has raised concerns in the US and Israel, detailing Israeli military preparations for a possible attack on Iran in response to Tehran’s missile strike on October 1. The files, shared by a pro-Iran Telegram account called “Middle East Spectator,” claim to contain US observations of Israeli Air Force (IAF) exercises conducted on October 15-16.

The authenticity of the documents remains unverified, and neither the Pentagon nor the US Office of the Director of National Intelligence has commented on the leak. However, CNN reports that US authorities are investigating the situation, with officials describing it as “deeply concerning.”

A senior Israeli official indicated that the defense establishment is taking the leak seriously, although a US official stated it would not alter plans for a potential attack against Iran. The documents allegedly provide details on IAF exercises involving air-launched ballistic missiles, fighter jets, UAVs, and refueling tankers.

The Iranian missile assault on October 1 targeted Israel, prompting the country to enter bomb shelters and resulting in a fatality in the West Bank. Iran’s actions were framed as retaliation for Israeli strikes that killed key Hezbollah leaders.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned a drone attack on his residence earlier in the day, attributing it to “the agents of Iran.” Meanwhile, the US has cautioned Israel against retaliating against Iran’s nuclear or oil facilities to avoid escalating regional tensions.
