Residential building hit in Iran missile attack as multiple locations report damage
At least 18 people have been injured following a missile strike in Iran’s Alborz province, according to local media reports. The incident has raised concerns over civilian safety as attacks continue to impact populated areas.
The strike hit a residential building in Kamalshahr, Karaj, during the early hours of Wednesday, causing significant destruction. Officials reported that the four-storey building was completely destroyed, leaving several residents wounded.
Authorities, cited by the semi-official Tasnim news agency, confirmed that emergency teams were quickly deployed to the scene to assist the injured and assess the damage. The extent of casualties could rise as rescue operations continue.
In addition to the residential damage, two empty warehouses were also struck in separate locations—one in Chaharbagh county and another in Golsar city. While no injuries were reported from these sites, the attacks highlight the broader reach of the missile strike.
The incident underscores growing instability and the increasing risk posed to civilian infrastructure amid ongoing tensions. Officials have yet to provide further details on the source or intent behind the attack.
