Airstrikes and Hezbollah attacks intensify as death toll in Lebanon rises
A family of four was killed in southern Lebanon on Wednesday as Israeli airstrikes continued amid a growing ground invasion. The victims, including a man, his wife, and two daughters, were struck in the Nabatiyeh district, adding to a rising civilian death toll.
The total casualties in Lebanon over the past four weeks of conflict have now reached 1,318, including 125 children, with nearly 4,000 people wounded.
Meanwhile, Hezbollah continues to claim military operations against Israeli forces, reporting rocket, artillery, and drone attacks targeting Israeli troops, bases, and barracks. Fighting has been concentrated around the town of Antara, with cross-border attacks into northern Israel escalating tensions further.
The ongoing conflict highlights the intensifying violence in southern Lebanon, with both civilian and military targets caught in the escalating clashes.
